Aliens vs. Zombies probably won’t change anyone’s life, but it’s a great ride of a comic and a thoroughly enjoyable adventure through genre fusion. Best of all, every page oozes with passion and effort from everyone involved.
Overall, The Island, like many anthologies, is likely to offer something to most readers. Using the creators involved as a guide, this publication is unlikely to disappoint.
There is always a lot to love about Mega Man, but a Mega Man comic with Sonic and Street Fighter? That’s on a whole other level of pure awesomeness. The Archie Action! line is somehow getting even cooler.
