Kaijumax #6

The harshness of the stories at hand, especially coupled with the lighter visual aesthetic, might be off-putting to some, but if you can tune your brain to Kaijumax’s frequency you’ll find this an excellent read and easily the best sci-fi allegory currently being published in comics.

Rebels #7

With so much care put into every aspect of the issue, it is no wonder that the final product is this impressive.

From Under Mountains #1

While the first issue does not focus on any one of its settings or characters for very long, this vignette-type approach along with the map of Akhar to close out the issue certainly suggests that the creators have much in store for readers.

Astro City #27

…not everything needs to be a TV show or a movie or even a New York Times bestseller, some things can just be for comic nerds, and that’s Astro City.

Nameless #5

There’s no denying the surrealistic mood piece aesthetic of the comic works well, but it’s an unsustainable core in the long-term, leaving this an engaging read that fades from memory all too quickly.
